ijeoma ononogbuIjeoma Ononogbu is a dual qualified lawyer, having been admitted in Nigeria and England & Wales. She has a Master in Laws (LLM)  from Queen Mary, University of London where she specialized in International Dispute Resolution.

She is a Fellow of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Member of Dispute Board Federation, Geneva, Arbitral Women and London Court of International Arbitration. A panel member of institutions globally, which includes the Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration, Malaysia. A practising solicitor in International Dispute Resolution in London, with interests in litigation, arbitration, mediation, conciliation and online dispute resolution.

She has delivered papers on online dispute resolution in a number of workshops, and conferences across jurisdictions. Her conference presentations, include an online dispute resolution presentation in July 2011, in Accra, Ghana titled ‘Online Dispute Resolution as a Form of Alternative Dispute Resolution in Africa: Present and Future Prospectsorganized by the California State University, Sacramento, was published in June 2014. 

Ijeoma is the UK Chartered Institute of Arbitrators delegate to the UNCITRAL Working Group III on ODR. A Working Group focused on creating a set of ODR procedural rules for cross-border e-commerce, with its sessions held at the UN headquarters. She has chaired dispute resolution competitions in a number of London institutions, which includes a mediation competition at the BPP Law School.

She is passionate about alternative dispute resolution, particularly online dispute resolution in the technological world.
